Can't go wrong with the techdeck. It was the first thing I added and love it.

They're nice, I have my camera monitor mounted to it, it can kinda block the AC controls a little but it's not really an issue, there's a guy who makes something similar that doesn't have the shelf it's just ram balls on either end of the AC controls but I like the tech deck heavy duty as it's 8n double sheer plus has extra screws going up into the bottom of the radio surround, it's much more supported.

If you're only mounting a phone or small GPS and mostly street then the pretty little side mounts are great but if you like to wheel hard and fast I would go with the heavier duty tech deck like that.

There's also the (weird acronym like TPAM or something) mount but it sits on top of the dash and I already have something mounted there I am unwilling to relocate.

You can kinda see my actual phone mount to the top left there.

I also have the birddawg industries mirror riser with ram ball for my go-pro, slightly "moded" to mount my compass/thermometer mirror pod and to support it more as otherwise it's too much weight and will fall off (and sometimes take some of the windshield with it.)

I know, I noticed after I posted the picture and though, “Wow, that is cool looking”. The springs, shocks, control arms, etc was all replaced like 2 months ago.

Yes but you need the clock piece as it's different too, also I believe the 4wd selector is different.

Toyota is the only place to get it AFAIK.

I did that but with the twist I wanted it did not work. Held the x mount too far from dash and too far towards window. Thus a bracket was needed.

From my understanding it fits perfectly. The only thing that you would need is a need newer radio din. My dasaita come with one, so we'll see if comes together as planned. If not I'll resale it.

And I bought it from here: https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-radio-panel-5541204100

Has anyone gotten a blower motor off RockAuto? OEM is like $125 and rockauto has them for under $40. Wondering if they are worth a shot being 1/3rd of the price.

The boot kit arrived yesterday. The clamps look to be the correct size. I haven't had the time to crawl under the truck to have a closer look.
I call it a kit because the boot and clamps came with a bag of grease in the box, which I won't be using. I'll be using the Motorcraft grease. The clamps say "OEM T", so maybe OEM Toyota?
