Now, do you need the dealer to perform this?

Got back from the dealership, they reflashed my ecm for the surging at 40-50mph

The leak they were at a loss for, never seen it before, had to call in some others to look. Couldnt find anything wrong with it, but told me to keep an eye on it.

Did you ask about the blinker fluid?

Never really saw it drip again, but the steering column is wet to the touch (oil) coming from the collapsible part. Dealer I took it to are not the brightest bulbs, so If it happens again ill have to bring it to another dealer.

It stopped leaking?! :goingcrazy:Well then refill it quick! If the fluid all drained out and the blinker fluid reservoir is dry, you know what’ll happen next?!

Nah its cool, I switched over to a solid state blinker system. No need for fluid... thanks Elon Musk!

I noticed a very similar puddle a few months back. Couldn’t find the source, hasn’t returned.

Just got to work, and for whatever reason I looked at my steering column and had the exact same drip. I lifted my truck about 6 months ago and I see how that puts a little bit of stress on tie rods, anybody find any reason the steering column has a drip yet?

Never did figure out what the cause was, but also never had it happen again or have any issues.
