I wouldn’t touch a Ranger with a 10 foot pole. A fugly truck it is. The older ones were alright, but I haven’t looked twice at a new one. If the Tacoma didn’t exist, I would go Colorado or Canyon over Ranger. The Frontier doesn’t do it for me either. The Ridgeline doesn’t even count to me. May as well be a Civic.

    You’d pick a GM truck over a Frontier?:annoyed:

That’s what happens when a lumberjack and a samurai cross paths on Brokeback Mountian - not that there’s anything wrong with that. :)

To be fair, every single dealership I've dealt with has been just the absolute worst. So if the buying process is part of what makes or breaks a deal for you, it might be best to get another brand because Toyota dealers absolutely trash their good name.

@BudFriendguy I can only speak to the two dealerships I've dealt with. Neither were bad.

First one is where I bought my current Tacoma (used '17) from. Wasn't an overwhelmingly good experience but wasn't a negativeone either. Was my first time buying so I was a bit stressed just walking in. Wife just got a new Rav from the dealer closest to us and we were both very happy with the experience. So much so that I went to them and plopped down a deposit on a '21 Tacoma. The ~30mins I spent looking over allocations and & talking to the manager were quite pleasant. That said, the true test is delivery day.
