I'm fine with this being a one game suspension even though I don't think there is an actual attempt to injure Nurse , but how the fuck is this a suspension as "it's not a hockey play" but fuckhead Tom Wilson's WWF act is not a suspension ? Like that WAS a hockey play or something ?

Matthews and McDavid both hit the milestones, tonight. Pretty incredible.

As for McDavid, I'm obviously not a big fan but it was crazy just watching him get these 4 points. Getting 4 pts in a game to hit a milestone should be hard, but it just seemed so easy.

 

Honestly, I'm going to laugh when they play the Jets and he takes a bad hit then ghosts for the rest of the series. At least, that's what happened last year.

 

We can only hope. I just hope if they play, that Helle doesn't get lit up lol. That's my guy. But ya, it'll be interesting to see if the Jets can keep bodies on him and get him shook.

 

Btw, I actually got to see the Leafs tonight. Been a little while. They do look good. And they still have a couple guys coming back. This might be a different year for them, finally. It's just a really solid overall team.

 

We shall see. It was nice to see Montreal try to push back tonight after losing a bunch straight to the Leafs and still come up short. Campbell also seems to be in a great groove. They keep saying Andersen will be back for playoffs but, personally, I think this is Soups team now.

 

Ya I thought FA played 2 games in AHL, so I guess he will be back. But with how Campbell has played and how the team has played w him in the cage, it seems like a no-brainer that he's the guy. But, if you need to turn to your #2, FA is a nice guy to have come off the bench, I suppose.

 

Tocchet and Torts are both out as coaches. I always liked Tocchet.
