Anybody else with DT headers have not so straight flanges?

Also the crossover is VERY close to the block.

Ive tried refitting it and get similar results every time. The bolt on the flange shown isn’t as far seated as the other bolt and it’s super tight in there. The other one is fully seated with no threads left over.

I am still able to see a very slight amount of light through. This is with a light sitting on to of the flange and looking into the collector at the cat area.5367CDB5-2A76-4BEA-A464-5A77D5E6B16A.jpg

My Whiteline LCA bushings were a breeze to install. Old ones popped right out with a little heat & bottle jack... can image trucks in places like CA or desert will be easier.

Not ideal but is possible. Increase wear on the turbo as you'll get turbo flutter.

Ordered a 7” SPAL pusher fan to install infront of my trans cooler. I was still getting around 230 when I was going up dirt grades in 4hi. Overall the trans poker has helped a lot with highway and city driving. Even mountain hwy grades.

mom also going to move the lines for the trans cooler to after the radiator instead of before.

I missed what trans cooler you went with?

I need to install my B&M 70268 and I'm still on the fence if I should use the radiator still for my transmission or not.

Where I'm moving it gets pretty hot during the summer; even now it'll reach 90's over there

I realize you didn’t ask me but I did this and I went with a cooler and filter (separate components) from Derale Performance. I left the radiator cooler in place too. The order was, out of the trans to the factory rad cooler, out of that to my added cooler behind the grill, out of that into the filter I added, and out of that back into the transmission. Been this was for 3-4 years now. I change the filter every year or so. Zero issues.

    Thank you for the plug!

I've considered running the radiator portion in series like you (and many others) do, but wondered if there really was any benefit for when I move to a much warmer climate.

No problem! In the Sacramento valley we sometimes see triple digit heat. I’m glad I’m getting as much cooling as I can get, plus some added fluid capacity to the system from the extra components. But I’m no expert, totally self taught in addition to this forum.

Whenever I've broken a handle I always feel the need to replace it ASAP, with my luck the other one will break and I'll be locked out of my truck lol.

To further my issues with the crankshaft pulley the other day. I went to tackle it today and to my amazement the bolt was hand tight.. there’s my Play issues.. Could have been so bad! Put a new pulley on and torqued. Then even got the wife to help me put on my Cascadia solar panel and wired it up. Shakedown this week... finally..
