I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Air bags are not triggered from the bumper. It's an accelerometer that triggers the air bag so when you come to a instant stop it triggers the air bag it shouldn't matter what bumper you have.

I believe it is because the tacomas airbag system isnt actually attached to and affiliated with the bumper. It is activated on an inertia driven system by the truck stopping so fast by hitting a wall or stopping all of a sudden. .... Something like that.

    Think of it this way.....

If someone you work with asks you a question about something they should've or could've figured out on their own.... ??? How do you react?

It does....You put a different bumper on - which is beefier, heavier, and sturdier.... the bumper will absorb a lot of the impact and the airbags won't go off when they should.

It doesnt matter how big or beefy the bumper is, they will go off when they should. There inertia sensors are mounted to the sub frame of the vehicle. A stronger bumper may not get as much damaged as stock but the intertia of a vehicle in an accident still the same depending on speed and impact. :)

Actually according to that, technically it should go off sooner, cause instead of taking the impact like the stock shitty bumper, it's going to transfer it directly to the frame and those sensors.

Or you can just get a ARB and not worry about airbags?

Except then you have an ARB bumper...and that's apparently not what the OP wants.

since no one has an answer, call dem :p

since the ARB is airbag compliant im sure the allpro would be too since neither of them move or touch the air bag sensor

The 05+ Tacoma's are inertia and sensor driven when it comes to the air bags. The stock bumper, as we all know, is extremely flimsy. By adding our Front Bumper it will not effect the airbag. Keep in mind it is a much more rigid bumper than the one that comes stock though! Tacoma's have a sensor that also sense sudden deceleration so you shouldn't worry about adding the front bumper to your truck

Also speaking from experience, if it wasn't for my front bumper when I got hit in a head on crash, I wouldn't have walked away without any injuries!

It's not so much the questions and answers that are the problem. It's the repeat questions that have been addressed in full before:
From: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/46759-all-pro-bumper-skid-plate-install-qs.html nearly a year and 4 months ago.

All the info you wanted was right there. This one doesn't come up AS often as some of the others (what tires, what oil what etc etc etc)...but it's your truck and your money...I don't want to do all the work for you...specially when it's easy to find this kind of answer.
