    Bump.

@OVTune I don't believe you ever addressed this since you weren't feeling well at the time. Still wondering about these questions I asked.

Also something I didn't ask about last time was why in the 35F51 (4R) A-ACAT table (pictured in the quoted post), the Requested Torque axis also has values that start high and reduce down to zero, and then rise again.

He did answer that the speed is just divided by 100.

He answered that on the vf forum

That was in reference to something separate that @MOC221_ was asking about, WRT to the vehicle speed axis for the 3GT A-ATRA table

Unless I'm retarded, I'm asking about the relationship between the tables between 3GT and 5T4R, since they look super similar but have different descriptions and table axis', and why the 4R has an axis that starts with values greater than zero, trends down to zero, and then rises again.

For the sake of accuracy, it was divided by 128.

Not being a dick. I just know this because I was just going back through these posts a few minutes ago looking to find an answer in case I'd forgotten, and the thing about the dividing by 128 was right by my own posts lol

    3GT - 3rd Gen Tacoma
    5T4R - 5th gen Toyota 4Runner

A-ACAT is in reference to the table for the 4Runner that is titled "Accelerator-Acceleration Calculated Airload to Torque"

A-ATRA is in reference to the table for the 3rd gen Tacoma that is titled "Accelerator-Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload"

These table acronyms are also spelled out in my original post from early April for clarification. I only abbreviated them following that

I've been playing with both the Primary Throttle Efficiency Target and Primary Throttle Efficiency Target Gear 1-6 maps for the Tacoma 2GR-FKS, with pretty good results. I still don't know exactly what the relationship between the Primary map and the gear maps is, other than I can control engine braking with the Primary map, and I can control overall response with the gear maps. The axis labels are confusing, especially on the Primary map.

Just today I tried setting up 1st gear similar to reverse, in that I set the minimum value to 50 instead of a reducing value dependent on throttle angle and RPM. Seems to come out of the hole a bit better.

We expect full map switching info, tuning guide, and base files to be ready this month, some of which coming next week.

With that being said, with the massive expansion in parameters, map modes, custom code, there may be changes (future) in pricing to some things.

As always we notify ahead of time.

Some info is available on the first page of the main tuning thread.

Happy mother's day! We wouldn't be here without them.

@OVTune With the map switching files, will there just be base files for us to apply our own settings, or will there also be files that you've created that you feel are best for the truck? Thanks

Is "map switching" a feature that we could pay credits to unlock and apply somehow to our existing tunes and then edit from there, using the files that we're already editing in vFC format?

I believe you'd talked about such a thing before, certain features costing credits.
