If it runs that wouldn't be too horrible of a price. Throw some 80 series axles under it and it would be sweet.

 

Yea but lots of wires that don't look like they are in the stock positions lol.. lots of rust .. so it would need a lot of work but if put in the work totally would be worth 40k like all the rest

 

You don't restore that one too much time and $$$$ to invest for probably 0 profit. That's one you get going fix just enough to make it wheelable and go riding.

 

True but that's why I should never buy one if want it perfect

 

Or just buy one that someone else already spent too much to do. But then it would never really see the dirt.

 

My truck is my office & it’s gotta get me there anytime 24/7 so I don’t mind drivin’ the 200+ miles a week. I’d like somethin’ like the guy down the way. Guess you gotta walk before you can Crawl

 

I think my budget is more RC friendly maybe I should start rock crawling and overlanding toys lol

Like start up a RC Carvana.

 

I got into racing drones for a while. Tons of fun but not cheap... especially when you crash them constantly and have to rebuild them

 

Everything about RC toys is expensive. I raced Short Course trucks for a few years. Dudes be rolling up to races in RV’s pulling trailers. I’d roll up in my Tacoma with a pop up cover and folding table for my work bench.

Have you seen some of the RC Crawlers on the market right now? You'd might be better off with that FJ40 you posted.
