so I ordered a portable solar panel for the camper last monday. the best deal was through camping world, the next smaller size was more expensive on Amazon. I've purposefully reserved sunny campsites since I depend on solar to recharge BUT if the weather sucks and it's cloudy or rainy; I'm screwed. Sure, I can start the truck and let it run to use the truck's engine/battery/alternator to recharge the camper but that's just dumb and a PITA.
I interpreted the website to read that shipping would take 5-7 days, as in it would be on my doorstep in 5-7 days. BUT they actually meant 5-7 to just put a shipping sticker on the damn thing and sent it out their door... credit card charge was "pending" all week, I have yet to receive any confirmation email for the order, and I just checked on my CC again and the charge finally went through. I hope that means I'll be getting some kind of email tomorrow once they open for business... and the damn thing better be here by Friday or I'm screwed! :annoyed:

That sucks. 100w solar panel is in stock at HF in Boseman, Helena and Billings for $194 and portable. If your camp is in the trees, drag it out to the sun. Zim

My rig is prewired for Zamp brand panels. Easy hook up as long as I stick with them otherwise I need adapters and shit to make it work.
