If it's for 2018+, I don't believe those tune packs are even ready. The website listing says 2007-17

I guess I shouldn't feel bad about the $250 WiFlash adapter. $7k is a spicy meatball...

On another note, I ordered credits the other day and they showed up in under 24 hours. So that was cool.

We explained just the other day the reason for the delay on sending tundra tune packs. The flasher needs to be updated for certain model year tundras. Something that's about to be released. We keep all of our tundra folks inthe loop with everything. And was something that we *did not know* at the time.

But of course some tacoma folks will read into it some way on here how I am personally bending people over or something.

People calling me a bait and switch, etc etc.

I always explain EVERYTHING, WHENEVER something changes.

Wasn't a complaint... it was a statement.... and questions were asked and answers were received.

As a Tacoma guy, all I can say is, at least I'm not a Subaru guy.... But like I said, not mad, I know you've got bigger fish to fry right now, amigo. Keep it up. You're doing God's work.

was talking with a dude and we both thought it would be a cool if we could send credits to each other if we were in a bind while waiting for ours to arrive.

“Hey dude I need 44 credits could you send me some? I’ll send mine when they show up in my account!”

    is that something that’s possible?

1.3 should bring instant credit updates, last I knew. Buy online at vF website, open vF tuner and BAM! Credits applied.

I would like this post, but it would be one more notice Mat has to filter through.

    I’m also hoping that 4Low Active = 4Low On = 4Low

2.0 ultimate sounds good ! But matt indicates it will only be available for the latest ECU.
My tactrix cables should show up next week and I planned to ugrade to 04b04. But I don't want to unlock an ECU that will not work with 2.0 ultimate.
Being on 04b01, Will I even be able to use it ?

I didn't try any other so... It drives. But it feels like a 4 cylindre anywhere under 3500rpm. And the gearbox is dumb.
I had a mazda bt-50 2.5 turbo diesel that were about 160hp with a tune and it was more fun than the tacoma as it sits.

Unless the earliest 3rd gens shipped with 04B01, I think I may have had 04B00 on mine all the way until 2019 when I convinced the dealer to update it, though they were mostly unwilling (don't get me started on my local dealer, better off going to a different city). Mine was built 10/2015 per the door sticker and I purchased 12/2015 so it was pretty early on. Honestly don't know how I put up with it that long other than I drive maybe 75% of the time in S mode instead so I could hold gears longer, still do because I've been trained by the horrible original tune. Yet, I bought an auto, should have just stuck with my Inferno 6MT order but the red AT came along and saved me months of waiting. Kind of wish I did wait though just so I could have the experience of owning a manual. The only stick I've ever had was a 2007 Wrangler X in 2007 and only for a few months before getting a 2004 Tundra. It's all history from there.

If it wasn't cost prohibitive, I'd swap the 4L60E for a T56 in the 'maro, but it's such an untouched car I'd hate to mess with it this far on in it's life. Maybe a beater Miata or something to learn on one day would be fun.
