Then 275/70/18's on KO2's as well. I definitely rub with this setup. Some caster adjustment should solve majority of it I believe.

Truck looks nice. So you just have the OEM TRD lift kit (you get about a 1.5 inch with that?) and AAL, with 285/70s ... any rubbing? I'm about to install Bilstein 6112s/5160s, ICON 1.5"AAL and SPC UCAs....have same TRD SEMA wheels w/ 265/70s but wanting to upgrade to 285/70 BFG Muds...hoping to avoid a CMC or any trimming.

That's nice...just a leveling kit and no rub? Nice! I like seeing more Tacomas without the black wheels. What fender flares you have on your rig?

I think he's right about the 0 offset being the money zone. I have zero offset with 285/75/16 and avoided the CMC easy. Only did a leveling kit that added maybe an inch and some spacers that I wanted anyway to give that poke.

Yeah I’m starting to realize that it just depends. Some people need it and some don’t. All depends on your setup and your truck. I’m going to get the wheels and tires I want and if I need a cmc I’ll just :sawzall:

I'm still happy with the setup. I added a front bumper and winch that pulled the front a little lower so I started to get some rubbing in the front when flexed. Pushed in the the fender liners a bit and that helped. Haven't been offroad yet but that will be the real test.

Thanks. They are Vision 85 Soft 8's in the 17x9 -12 variant. I wanted the 17x8 -12 but was told it conflicted with the caliper.

'20 Taco long bed added 285/75/16 Toyo AT3's on OEM wheels just this week!

With winch bumper and camper shell, truck dropped 1" in the rear and 1/2" in front on OEM suspension. I did these upgrades first to see where I would end up before adding a lift. After a couple of phone calls, I went to see Anthony at Toytec here in Denver. He measured my current height with the extra weight and recommended the Boss 2.0 (2.5" lift) coil-overs in front and I added the SPC upper control arms too so, no problems in the future. OME leaf packs for the rear (3.5" lift) and Toytec shocks. Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers allowed for the factory rims to be reused. After I got it installed with a little help, I took it to Toytec for adjustment/tuning and alignment. Truck looks great, alignment is perfect, and I'm not discerning but, the ride is definitely improved...smooth! They loaded my front suspension using their loading ramp and moved my steering through the full range of motion...NO RUBBING! This is just what I was looking for and can't wait to take it off road!

I have the TRD lift on the top setting and OEM coils gave me 2” of lift in the front. The rear has TRD shocks and Wheelers 3-leaf AAL plus 1/2” block and tapered shim for about 2” of rear lift as well. I wanted to retain a little rake. You shouldn’t rub with the OEM sema wheels since they are 7” wide and have a reasonable offset. You will be especially good with the SPC UCA’s. I have stock UCAs and I’m fine but I really want to get SPC’s to get more caster and better highways driving. Just have the alignment shop max the caster on the LCAs (pushes the wheel forward) and adjust the camber with the SPCs.
