Oh for sure. The frame would have to be gone through to determine if a frame repair, or replacement would have to be done. The last time I was under there banging around on the frame, that one spot was the only spot that sounded dead. The rest had a nice ting to it. But, that was a couple years ago.

Bought my ‘04 with 91k on the clock a little over 2 years ago for $7500. I’ve put maybe $400 into it all told since then and was insulted by an unsolicited offer for $7k a couple weeks ago.

It sure is, I buy several cars and trucks as I resell them. I'm an independent broker. You have a problem with me earning a living? Plus its none of your concern what my intentions are. Best thing is to mind your own business!

    That's a pretty irrational reply.

To a degree. I speak my mind, do what I want and say what I want. Then I leave it be. Don't really care what happens after that. Peace, out of here.

Wow. I wouldn’t think a simple observation would stir someone up so much. But since you’ve aired your business....I couldn’t, wouldn’t do what you do. It has a feel along the lines of a pawn shop owner, a lawyer, even a ‘picker’. Flipping a product for profit with just a simple spit shine feels morally wrong. If there was some wrenching and/or repair work involved...some sort of technical skill besides outsourcing a buffing job it would be different.

Ok that is just insane. Even if it were an earlier V6 model with 16k miles it would still be insane, but at least that would make it more one of a kind.

Reg cab 4 cylinders are everywhere out in the world, why pay $50k for one even with 16k miles on it. Not to mention such few miles can actually be detrimental to it's reliability depending on how it was cared for over the years.
