You'd have to define every specific factor the premium is calculated on to have any hope of a meaningful comparison with a random group of people like this.

Even then pretty much all you get is a fruit basket since the only apples you'd get like yours would have to live in your town and mirror your conditions.

And everyone should at least shop their policy every year or two via an independant agent. It costs nothing and you may find savings.

My car insurance went up by $85 a month, just by adding the new Tacoma to the policy. (Total car insurance bill comes to $2,280/year, but that includes several vehicles.)

Throwing out a $ number isn't really going to show anything. $ has all different dependencies like state, discounts, coverage. State alone makes a huge difference.

The company I'm with gives a discount if over 760. Not hard to achieve. Last 2 companies did. Something about less claims from higher credit score people. Also paying for the full yr saves about 8.00 in processing fees per transaction.

Been with geico the last few years. I bundle my insurance with the 2 vehicles, a boat and my house. Premiums went up this year a fair amount for the house, and slightly went up on the other stuff, but from what i understand its gone up for everyone, some much much higher. At least owning the tacoma its still a little less than what i was paying on my tundra 2 years ago.

After reading some of the posts, ill gladly be happy with $80 a month right now haha. Geico seems to have the best prices in MA FYI

Living just beyond the border of ma and ny in connecticut, geico has had the lowest rates every 6 months for 2 years now. I compare every 2 years, some of these insurance companies are outrageous...pays to shop around. Forgot to say i have geico for my snowmobile to.

$204 a month with Progressive, Phoenix area, full coverage on:

    2021 Tacoma
    2017 Subaru Forester
    2003 Corolla

When I bought the Tacoma and let go of the 2012 Patriot, rates didn't go up a dime.

I'm so old I remember when gas sold for .34 cents a gallon, and the Dead-Sea was still alive....
No tickets, no DUI's, nothing fantastic.

I live in Houston as well but out in the suburbs and Geico quoted me $735 per 6 months for full coverage for my 2020 SR and the wife’s 2020 Forester. I’m guessing you are inside the loop

I moved from Seattle to a small town in NH and it cut mine down 30%. I'm paying about $47 a month for full coverage with a $500 deductible.

I just added my 2021 Tacoma to my policy and it added about $460 every 6-months. Also Geico.

We’re rolling out end of this year, I’ve been done with this place since I was a kid. Finally my wife sees the light and we’re going to a red state thank God. Maybe this place will lose another seat in the House of Representatives again. Only crappy part is we’re actually normal people and don’t have Cali money. So we’re getting priced out of other places as well.
