Too bad the timing is off. If you were looking next year, mine would be available. I want something with differential lock for my slopes but I don't think I can fit it in the budget this year. A shed is priority, followed by a mini split. I am sick of having everything in the garage in the summer and having no good winter storage solution.

 

At this rate I may still be looking next year. I waited too long last spring and the used market dried up. I am not seeing too many decent machines out there right now.

Mine is a 2008ish Craftsman that had a blown motor so the guy who had it before me put a Briggs Vanguard on it. The engine is worth more than the whole machine at this point. Transmission is good, it was starting to slow down when it warmed up so I changed the fluid and it's been good ever since. The deck isn't great, I had to weld a support back onto it once and I don't know how much time it has before it rusts through. I'll probably end up letting it go dirt cheap for that reason. It'd be worth it to someone at a good price if they just pick up a better donor deck for it. I would do that myself if it had a locking differential, but I priced the transaxle with that option and by the time I did that, the deck, and fixed some cosmetic issues I might as well buy a new machine.

 

Anyone local want a free set of NASTA stainless steel running boards? I'm in the Pioneer Valley. They came off a 2015 AC and are in pretty good shape. I know there's a FREE STUFF thread but I don't really want to deal with shipping and figured I may have better luck in this local thread.

 

I can take them off of your hands if your just want to get rid of them. I am in Wilbraham.

That is what I am guessing.

No because a black line is through his name and it comes up as "error" when you click on his name or ID. He is on "banned vacation " just wondering why.
