Angles are tough for me...be better if i had a compound mitre

 

I have a compound miter saw but only single bevel so had to learn which way to flip the board to alternate the bevel for the top trim.

 

…….duh.

 

What are we looking at here?

 

…a workbench that was *supposed* to be dead nuts level with the pop-up table saw, to function as an out feed, but some dumbass measured the height of the fence track instead off the actual deck of the table saw.

 

…now I gotta make spacers for the legs of the bench.

 

Maybe u could find some casters that are close enough then spacer lift the saw up a lil for final adjustment

 

The idea was that the bench would be the ‘anchor’, hence big, dumb, heavy, immovable. The tools could be positioned without much aggravation.

carve some height out of the wheels on the TS

 

The bench is low by almost a half. I think I’m gonna glue some 1/4 hardboard spacers on the feet of all the legs with a healthy sandwich of construction adhesive. This should give me about an 1/8” ‘drop’. That should be about right to catch the out feed with minimal droop, but not worry about getting hung up on the lip when I’m coming off the saw deck.
