Picked up some scotch brite wheels for the grinder. Should help for weld prep.

did you buy or make the drawer pulls? They are awesome!

My garage is very much a work in progress. The black cabinet (now) has swivel casters at all four corners and can be pulled out as a work surface. The green top has a welded steel frame under it with weldnuts for the vise and drill press. Now the top has computer monitors on it because I have been teaching classes from my garage this year. My only mistake so far has been I forgot to take the motor on the drill press into account on the table depth. So, to motor hits the wall and the counter is 4" from the wall. I'm still happy with the overall results.

 

I made them with old wrenches and all-thread welded to them.

 

Best brake piston compression tool I've ever used.

 

I keep a spare still with the hang tag in the little fuse cover pocket thing of my 2nd gen dash just in case I lose the 3 in my tool bag.

 

@G.T. once posted a clever use of a caulking gun for the same thing. Didn't even know they made the tool you posted.

 

been getting into Milwaukee 12v and staying away from Snap-on, how does that cutoff wheel do?

 

For thin stuff it works well. Bogs down on steel thicker than I'd say 1/8" but for sheet metal it works well and you can get pretty accurate with it.
