So I've been super busy with work, truck, chores, an untimely passing of my wife's Father. Not to mention all the normal everyday dealings with the chaotic world we live in.
The head of safety sends me this pic and says, "Out of the thousands of drivers, great job."
    I was floored!
I haven't even been driving 6 months yet!
I still don't know how I pulled that off considering all I do is follow the rules and have a blast out here.
I really do have to much fun...

My wood pile is done I'm ready for winter again:rofl:

    Not too soon though! 14518.jpg

Wonder if they heard of your off-road adventures and are happy your not driving their stuff off road?

Congrats @Skierrichy that means that management structure has seen you and taken notice of your attitude more than anything. Hope to see you running the place soon.

Sorry to hear @jpereira2 here's hoping for the best.

Hmmm... possible. Depends on when exactly I go to Laconia.
    Camping?
Would it be a sin to bring the Nissan instead of the Tacoma? Or? Been wanting to to a GNW trip since... I cannot remember.

Agreed. At least on acting like its not a problem.
Coffee, cannot live without. Nope. Dark roast(good stuff), black.

They do that. Then it'll be jumping out of a tree, and landing on what is left of a metal fence post, and getting a boatload of stitches in the foot.

Luckily, when they're young, they bounce back fast....

I drive it off-road every chance I get!
I have a double locking rear diff!
Just gotta stay out of the mud and use your brain.
I've literally had the tractor on 1 angle and a loaded trailer opposite angle down a dirt mound, it was awesome.
Wanted to take a pic but I didn't want to stop my momentum.

Nah, bring the nissan - we need to test our recovery gear

Camping will be almost a certainty. I doubt we find any 5 star hotels out there  will be self catered, I assume we'll be able to get fires going in the morning and PM. Goal will be to kip up by lake(s) as possible. Bitchin' camp sites are my favorite thing.

    Jeez, that's crazy.
Hope she gets fixed up and heals good.
I've had to remove a chunk of rust out of my eye at the doc, it got better a couple days later but I know nothing on a stick

Keeping her in my thoughts Jason. How are you feeling now it’s been a few days out from spraying extravaganza?

I got my 1st shot today. A daycare case got the whole house last month (including my wife who’s vaccine went two weeks post the day she tested positive) so I’m likely going to be hurting but we shall see.

Its all good, neither my my P4X or my TRD had squat on my Jeep. But, I am definitely much less worried about breaking my P4X, than I am the Taco.. point and shoot..
Main reason I'd bring it, more armor, and, I won't cringe of I tweak a panel..
    Tacoma still looks brand new...

That stinks, I hope she gets better soon!

I know one thing, kids eyes are one of the fastest healing parts of their bodies. My son scratched his eye once with a zipper pulling his sweatshirt over his head. The doctors at Mass Eye & Ear said it would heal very fast. A couple of days later we brought him back for his follow up and the scratch was completely gone!

Now how did you manage that when you don't even know what side of your truck the passenger sits on???

Wifey and I (and all older in-laws) had ours so were lakeside Sunday for Mother’s Day. Pulled a bunch of smallish fish on the boys lines. Bought a case of these because they are what we found works best...

Sorry to hear, but glad she'll be OK. Kids are always getting hurt, it's just kids being kids. When our daughter was about 1.5 we were putting up Christmas crap and she took one of those battery powered fake candles people put in their window and was just walking around with it and tripped. Tip of the candle went through her cheek not far under her eye. Had to get 12 stitches in her face right before Christmas.

Then when she was 5 her little brother pushed of off the trampoline and broke her arm. That one really got me as I was inside washing dishes and could immediately hear from the scream that something was wrong.

Somehow our son has avoided major injury besides smashing his dome multiple times trying to clear the stairs like Spiderman, or off the top bunk of the bunk beds other such heart attack inducing feats of idiocy.
