    I think they are 5 heat range and that’s probably stock range so depending on your setup maybe they will work well, so far they are doing great day two:)
    We will see down the road tho,

    They are made specifically for Supercharged motors and make a non Supercharged version plug so I don’t know how the heat range would be effected between the two for the end results,

    The DENSO k16 k20 and k22 are not specifically made for Supercharged motors.

    Yes.. I installed these plugs about 2 weeks ago, I can tell a difference.. Truck seems to have more pep as well.

    I did a good amount of research before buying, all was positive.

    Glad to hear this Too, I can tell a very noticeable difference, glad it wasn’t just my imagination of installing new parts :)

    Absolutely..

    However, I went with the lower heat range (FR7BHX-S) plug; similar to the IK22.

    You can probably get away with it running methanal though.

    Yes probably should have gotten those, didn’t see them available,
    Will keep an eye on them and see how they do as this is what NGK calls for.

    Yeah, every 75-100 horses you should step down a plug range. You want the coldest plugs that dont foul possible. 1-2 is normally good for us

    Got the 2 step cooler plugs and they are installed ,
    Better to be safe,

    These are what you want if your wanting two step cooler plugs,
    Heat range is a “7”

    Finally got my sc back from hsl. I'm going to buy the urd 7th injector kit when avaliable and upgrade the fuel pump. What is the best pump aem, deatschworks and what flow rate? Any other mods I should go with?

    The 7th injector kit comes with a new fuel pump. It works fine, just gets a little noisy when it’s hot.

    Yeah my Walboro pump from URD has been going strong for 4 years now. But honestly if I'd known back then how noisy it would get at times, I'd have put another one in there.

    I don’t drive my truck often enough that it bothers me. It’s an old pickup so a little noise doesn’t bother me as long as it keeps working. Changing the fuel pump is annoying

    anybody that has had their supercharger off the truck notice this noise?

    this is why I sent my supercharger off and this is how it was returned. With the same symptoms.

    eventually I’ll follow up with my experience with another rebuild shop nobody here has tried.

    hint: It wasn’t good.

    I have looked inside. No scoring of the rotor plate. No scoring of the needle bearing end. No scoring of the case on the needle bearing end. Rotors do not have contact marks.

    move spoken to Steig and I really just don’t trust the guy that much. Highspeedlab would have it for 8 months.
    Superchargersonline is pure highway robbery. HSL wants $750 JUST to change out needle bearing. That’s insane.

    I emailed that to Jon Bond and this was the response from Jon.

    “That is not a valid test procedure for us at all, as the supercharger does not rotate this way. Sorry.

    I would be bothered by the large amount extra sealant around everything, but I guess we clean up after ourselves”



    I sent the unit to magnum powers. I thought this guy would be good. He has a background in industrial mechanical engineering, designed his own supercharger systems for various applications, and casts his own M90 (MPX) case that makes more power than Eaton design.

    well, all that said it was not a good or professional experience. Seems like a Nice guy but this was not handled well. I honestly don’t even have idea of what he did if anything was even done at all.

    I honestly don’t know what to do. Trucks been down for 3 months, two sets of headers don’t fit, I may have gotten screwed from this guy. Tons of money just thrown away with nothing to show for it.

    Also forgot to mention that FexEx or UPS damaged the custom pulley I got made. Ive just been fucked from every direction.

    This is good to know, I have the supercharger with 7th injector installed. Should I go with the fr(6)bhx-s instead of the fr5 or in your instance, fr7? Thanks!
