BUT I CANT DRIVE IT ANY MORE. THE FRAME IS SO RUSTED OUT. IVE BEEN TOLD ABOUT RECALLS ON THIS ISSUES. BUT IM NOT TALKING TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. CAN ANYONE HELP?
IM A GIRL, SO I HAVE HAD LOTS OF GUYS DISMISS ME. THEY HAVE TOLD ME TO SELL IT. IM NOT SELLING IT. SHE( MY TOYOTA) IS NAMED ROUGHTY. SHE IS MY ROUGHTY GIRL. I LOVE HER. SHE IS THE ONLY TRUCK THAT HAS STARTED EVERYDAY AND GOT ME TO POINT A TO POINT B. FOR 3 YEARS. NOW SHE IS DOWN AND I WANT TO FIX HER. WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID, CAN ANYONE HELP?

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DEALER AND SEE IF YOU QUALIFY FOR A FREE FRAME REPLACEMENT AS PART OF THE FRAME RECALL LAWSUIT IF YOU DO NOT THEN UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO HAVE RHE FRAME REPLACEMENT DONE AND OR DO IT YOURSELF WHICH IS NO EASY TASK FRAMES FROM TOYOTA ARE RATHER EXPENSIVE YOUR BEST BET IS TO FIND A GOOD ONE FROM A JUNK YARD BUT THAT CAN BE A DIFFICULT TASK IN AND OF ITSELF ULTIMATE IT'S A LABOR OF LOVE THOUGH

If you are determined to fix it, and it can be fixed?

You will need to find a person to weld in a frame repair kit. That is IF the frame has enough left to be welded to?

You didn’t say what body style you have
Here is a link to a repair kit. Other people make them too just search around for the one that suits you best.

Personally, I’d make sure it’s worth it before attempting it. It’s not going to be cheap if you don’t do it yourself.

95 thru 99 we're bought back at 1.5x value and crushed.
2000 thru 2004 had 15 year extended frame warranty and frame replacement.
No 1st gen Tacomas qualify for frames due to 15 years have passed.
