Yesterday I had a cel come on for p0170 engine running lean . Light came on at 69 percent load. I check engine temp sensor and maf sensor they look ok and reading ok.from looking at data pids it looks like the engine is running rich my fuek mileage is down and you can smell it from exhaust. Also seems like it has low power. Just looking for any suggestions-also no vacuum leaks present, possibly injectors ?

Probably your primary O2 sensor in the exhaust.

I've had this a few times on my 2.7L and it's either been the MAF needing to be cleaned or a mild exhaust leak that was fixed with a new gasket. Could really be anything though

Typically the MAF will throw p0171 IIRC, but yeah worth a $5 can of CRC MAF cleaner to try cleaning the MAF before loading the parts shotgun.

It's possible, have you tried pulling your plugs to look at them and your piston tops?

I don't remember the values but you can check the ohms of each injector as well to see if they're okay.

When messing with injectors it's a good idea to replace all of them even when you have one fail just so they're matched. (Resistance and flow)

If nothing's obviously leaking and the O2 sensors are okay that's a possibility for sure. Don't you usually want to replace all injectors at once? And did you go with Denso or a different brand? I haven't replaced mine but once thought I might have to and found these
