Same here. We are leaving Friday as well. We are going to Moab, Mojave and then Death Valley. Although I may break off the group after Mojave to go hang with my parents for a little bit since they live in Central Cali.

Having a frustrating time with leaks at the front of the camper right now. I've re-done the butyl tape in the corners and it isn't leaking right there anymore, but rather a few inches inboard along the front of the bed. It seems to be coming from underneath the header rail, just below the tips of the arrows in the pic. I thought of removing rail that before install and running silicone bead underneath it, but never got around to it.

I'm tempted to run silicone bead along the bottom side of the gap where the water is coming out of but that isn't really fixing the issue and water may just run elsewhere. Unfortunately there isn't enough room between back of the cab and front of the bed/camper to get in there with silicone unless I can figure out an extension to the caulking gun. The flextension tips Home depot sell get poor reviews and are only 8" long. All I can think of is to tape a slurpee straw onto the caulking gun and hope that provides enough length.

    Any ideas?

If I did, I’d share it. But we just measure, cut, measure, cut… it’s a lot of walking back-and-forth but we make it work LOL

Yup. But I never saw that thread til after my install. Too late to easily remove that rail and seal under it now. Hence, asking for ideas.

Has anyone lifted the camper off their truck?

I just sprayed more water over by the center of the rear window. Water now running down the back from that area. So it's an issue all the way across, not just in a few spots. Corners are perfect though!

Maybe I just need to drill out the drain holes I plugged, and live with it lol...
