Well by some miracle she no longer needs surgery. She was still under anesthesia but what they seriously thought was internal tissue from the eye, ended up being more plant material. Dodged a bullet!

sorry to hear about the little one, glad you’re in the clear! Kids are pretty resilient.

 

For a mass produced product, those Vermont sticks are pretty good. I like the uncured bacon ones. Unlike a Slim Jim they don't feel like you're eating pure garbage.

Has anyone drive south on route 89 recently? For the past few months there has been a pretty awesome looking, desert storm tan first gen with what looks like 35's sitting at a business just off the highway. Right at exit 4, of which is only on the Northbound side.

 

I had got one for a work snack at the country store on a whim. we were fishing with no luck last season, gave it a whirl and landed 4 fish in 15 minutes. Definitely not cheap but when you’re fishing with impatient 3 & almost 5yo’s you use what has been proven to work. Just cut about a 1/4” round then cut that into 4-5 small pieces. I’m sure the neon powerbait nuggets are much cheaper; I’ll have to try some.

 

Nice!. That's actually good to know as i'm sure my kids will be impatient too. Just need more water! Is that your inlaws place? That's a great spot on the lake.

 

I think that was the vaccine talking. My body was just so incredibly sore. I should be good through this year. And yes couldn't have asked for better.

Still need to get a JP one. I was leaving the park at the southern gate around 11, it was a Wednesday but the line was out the door for passes, wasn't going to stand in line for 20 minutes for a patch that day.

Texas flag is my QT roadtrip, California flag was my Cannonball Run trip. Soon to be more state flags.

 

I like it. I have a handful on my headliner too. When I passed through Shenandoah NP and Blue Ridge Parkway NP they didn't have patches, just stickers.
