As long as the pipeline is down till they get the ducks lined up again nothing is going to move.

Scary that the whole pipeline is computer controlled back in theold days all the valves were turned by hand by someone who knew the physical location and could swap one out when it failed.

Where is the nearest pipeline to this not only support their customers pickup slack from the one down.

Did you hear how much product was contaminated ??

 

I haven't heard if anything is contaminated. I think it's more of a ransom demand but not sure.

 

I hear this all the time company stations get deliveries non company stations get bypassed for no real reason.

just because someone is being a dick head. This is when product has been ordered .

 

There is a tank farm near us the pipeline runs to/through, not sure how many gallons are in these tanks and this isn't all of the tanks. I'd say they are anywhere from a million gallons to 5 million gallons each.

 

we have tanks here on the tank farms that are 50/60 feet high and about 150/200 feet in diameter and they hold upwards of 12 million US gallons each

 

That may be how big these are. Not sure how many are full or empty but people are in a panic around here filling everything up.

 

Did you build up the end with some kind of material and turn it down to original specs?

 

Yes, tig welded it with stainless filler

I know the weld is hideous, I knew it was getting turned down and machined and it was a rush.

 

Yeah i put gas in this morning here in NOVA and there was lines at 5:30am to get gas i was like WTF back to the 70's

 

It's like they're calling for ice around here

VA is loaded with tank farms...

 

Big issue is the refineries are shutting down on the East coast as they cant move the product

I have a friend who drives for a major gas station chain, I text him and ask him to call me when he gets time. I want to see what they are telling him. He said give him a little bit.
