Not even close to the same vehicle. The plate listed in the letter is my Tacoma plate, but that is definitely not my Tacoma. It’s obviously a mistake due to the wire going across the plate in the pic that caused the third letter to look like an N. Here is the picture from the toll booth camera of the vehicle on the bill. I blanked out the end of the plate for his privacy and mine. It’s not a huge issue to dispute it. Just more annoying that I have to deal with it at all than a real issue.

I got a parking ticket for my Vanagon Syncro from LA (Cali) in the mail. I had never been there. :)
I called and they said, "oh, nevermind".

    Thanks!
On the other side, towards the cab, are traction boards. Those are also held by straps but I am working on a mount for those too. The boards are black and pretty invisible so they stay in the truck. I only "potentially" need them at the cabin and that's a weekly trip, if I am lucky. They stay onboard since they are out of the way and easier to store there than in the house. I do not like those pins/impalers that folks use so I will be fabricating a lower profile hanger and removable pin on a lanyard to keep them in place.
The tools du jour that go in those quickfist clamps will only be there for the trips where I need them. I have most of what I need at the cabin but some of my splitting stuff is home and I do not want to buy two of everything!
Really finding that divider to be handy as it adjusts to pretty much any load/configuration that I taking up.

Got the Talon through inspection this morning some how, so I'm good for another year. :D Also decided to paint the rusty wiper arms. Isn't perfect, but atleast I don't have to stare at the rust anymore. Just some Rustoleum industrial primer and semi-gloss black.

Also tried painting the mirrors, but it didn't go so good. I got impatient and went too heavy on the paint causing some pretty good runs. I'll sand them with some 320 followed by 600 tomorrow so it'll actually turn out better that way.

    And the runs

Replaced the pond liner today as the old one was cracked and would no longer hold water. Not sure why I even have a decorative pond. It was just there when I bought the house years ago. It was filled with dirt and had a tree growing out of it back then though.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!

Got the pool opened yesterday - 37F this morning. We'll spend the next week taking our time getting the water clean and tested. Next week looks like it might be good to start getting them heater going.

Today I start the demo on the greenhouse that was hit by the falling tree. Stripping it down to the studs and re-doing it. I get to do the demo and our contractor will do the rest.

Welcome to the cool kids group! I live over by the Lackawanna State Park.

Hi John, Thanks for asking. Kermit goes in on May 25th for a couple of days to be repaired. Taking him in to Thompson Collision Center in Plumsteadville. So far, her insurance company, Liberty Mutual has been very good. They sent out a picture estimate, sent out a check for the estimate amount with a letter that if it is more to repair for the body shop to contact them and they will send out another check and after I talked to the agent about where I was taking the car, I told him I needed a rental. We hung up and Enterprise called and set up to meet me at the shop when I drop Kermit off. If all keeps going as well as it has I'll be a happy man .
    Have a good day.

Your post has me wanting to purchase a "project car" as soon as my house is built.

I've been going down the late 90's Eclipse YouTube rabbit hole, looking at restorations. LOL

The pipeline wasn’t down, they shut down part of their business network to prevent any more issues. Shouldn’t cause any problems for distribution.

My wife and I own a small store here in NC and are out of gas with a tank farm less than 20 miles from our house. Our supplier has been cut off from getting product for now and we are out of gas at our store. Hopefully they can get it and bring us gas soon. Hard to be a gas station with no gas :annoyed:
