I know a while back when the refinery blew up or the pipeline was cut they had them driving to the coast to fill directly off of the barges. The problem with that is they aren't a common carrier, they only carry their brand to their stores which isn't good for us since we have one 2,000 gallon tank that is almost empty

 

I don't know but we are in a state of emergency.

interwebz says this , it is best to define what crude oil really is. This oil is practically equal to what is known as unrefined oil. But with regard to discerning the sour and sweet crude types, the primary difference between the two is in their sulfur content. It is important to note though that the fewer the sulfur in the oil, the friendlier it becomes to the environment. Thus, the former is rich in sulfur (has more pollutants) whereas the latter has lower sulfur content. Because of such, sweet crude also implies that the refinery costs are lower since most refineries to begin with are only processing the sweeter crude products. In addition, this type of crude has fewer impurities as compared to the other and is a lot easier to process.

 

All the pumps around here have "low sulfur" on the diesel pumps. If I don't put an additive in my 2003 Duramax it makes a weird noise, it's the fuel pressure regulator sticking from lack of lubrication. I used to add ashless 2 stroke oil but started using Power Service diesel additive.

 

jet fuel around the world has plunged along with gasoline I would think there is a full supply if we didn't sell off the excess to other Counties...
