DriveShaft lub

How often do you lub the driveshaft and slip joints?

 

dang It's in my owner's manual but can't remember...seems to be more often for severe duty of course. Getting a grease gun today and doing mine. 7 years and 71K without ever doing this and I haven't noticed any noises......

 

I do it every oil change because Im already under there

 

i usually do it every second oil change using lucas red and tacky

 

x2 on the lucas, but i usually do it every 3 mos or so.

 

X2 I do it about every 3months

 

Every 5,000 miles or so. I forgot the name of the brand I use. I pick it up at Wal-Mart.

 

I was doing it every 1000k til I got the springs done, with the axle wrap gone all seems fine so now will do it at each oil change about 3000k.
