This is not when it happened. That had nothing to do with the compressor. The compressor actually stopped that shock from hurting us. It broke just a few months ago.

It was the clamshell style you get in a kit off Amazon. Worked really well until it didn't.

So belt or something in that area starting squealing like a hog/rabid tweety bird... maybe I should clean the engine bay after submerging in mud ....

 

Wouldn't hurt to spray it off, but mine does the same thing and with time it clears up.

 

I’m hoping that’s all it is. It started on big levels ... then stopped ... then started again today... then got worse after the FiL sprayed with wd-40 hah.

 

Mine was doing it a little on Big Levels on the way out. It's been worse. It was so bad one time I thought I had lost my oil pan. Every time it's gotten better.

 

Pretty sure if WD40 doesn't fix it it's totaled.

 

Well maybe I'll go on an adventure this week

Somehow I ended up with a horizontal front license plate going through those puddles. Must be creatures in there. Clearly my truck is not high enough which must be remedied.

 

I'm just going to agree with this.
