I thought long and hard about the color, and decided brown would show dirt less. The minute I pulled the trigger I started having buyers remorse and wish I had gone with black. Oh well, it is what it is and it doesn't stink.

Took the biggest part of the weekend, it was tedious as all hell. As far as I'm concerned bathrooms and trucks should never have carpet in them.

Played with my foam cannon for the first time. The truck was already 90% clean minus some bird shit, but this was more so I could try it out for use on the DRZ and so I could power wash the frame for some cutting and welding on Thursday.

I'd love to wax the truck and really make it shine but it's hard to want to polish a turd.

Anyone know if there’s a way to fix a broken headrest adjuster? I’ve taken a lot of these seats apart before and the only way I can remember to replace the entire thing is having the upholstery and foam off which I don’t want to do.

    It’s missing the locator pin.

Rock Auto $163 shipped. Funny thing is, it's manufactured about an hour up the road from me. When I tried to order it from the manufactures site they wanted $300, I guess they don't want to sell to the public.

Made by auto custom carpets right? I got it from this seller originally a couple years ago, price is good again but shipping is insane to me, $42. Rock auto is prob cheaper.

Started sound proofing the cab.. threw on layers of cdl, closed foam, and MLV behind the speaker housing to start... threw back in the old insulation for good measure

First pic is the old & melted insulation that needed to be removed.. anyone know how to unhook the bench seatbelts in the extra cab? Can’t get the quarter panel removed with the seatbelt holding me up

The button part is actually pretty easy to replace. There is a tiny nail, you can see it in this photo sticking up to the left of the hole the headrest post goes into. Just pull that nail up and the button part slides out. There are two springs stock, but as you can see mine only has one. The other one is somewhere in my garage, wherever it landed after it flew out when I was putting seat covers on a few years ago. Works fine with just one.

Oh yea? You’re talking the storage compartments under the seats themselves correct? Thanks dude
