Audio always off when start?

Is there anyway to change this the audio is always off everytime i start my truck

What source are you using OP? AM/FM, USB? I'm not sure bluetooth will work always on the the device would need to be activated to play audio but it should auto connect.

 

Am/FM/AM automatically resume on start up. Blue tooth does not.

 

If it's Bluetooth, what phone or device are you using to play your media?

 

XM is always on if you leave it on at shut off.

 

Mine turns it self off when I use Apple CarPlay when I disconnect the cable from the usb it’s stupid annoying .

 

The Audio is always turned off when I start the truck.

 

mine will always do that if the last source I was using when I turned the truck off was Bluetooth or Android Auto and I've not plugged in the cable before starting the truck again.

Seems like its looking for that last source to be connected and when its not it just goes to off.

 

My Bluetooth audio always plays as soon as it connects if I leave it in Bluetooth before shutting off. It’s annoying

 

Bluetooth starts automatically as well. However, if you closed the program on your phone, it may not automatically boot up once connected. If not, it'll start up immediately. At least in my experience.

 

iPhone.

 

Toyota sound systems are just awesome! Mine spontaneous reboots and can’t tune in HD stations. Oh and Entune, that is an amazing application, free of the constraints of having to work or even make sense, it has no bounds.

When I got a new head on warranty the features just kept piling on with iPhone drops and volume glitches.

Per the dealer they suggest going to Crutchfield and getting something that is good. This is not a joke.

 

I'm not too familiar with IPhone, but for my Android I have a setting to automatically start playing music/media when Bluetooth connects. Is there anything like that for IPhone?

 

I only use bluetooth and it'll automatically turn on when I get in

 

I just got a 2023 Tacoma TRD Off Road and have thumb drive plugged in with about hundred CD's on it that I play. Audio is off when I start the truck but it wasn't like that with my 2017 & 2019 Tacoma.

 

I leave my turntable plugged in to the 12v and it starts spinning that vinyl right back up when I start the truck. My 8-track on the other hand stays off.
