Literally ran into this last March with everybody taking toilet paper and clean supplies There's only a shortage because we cause said shortage with panic. Atleast both of my vehicles are above a half tank and I work from home

 

Elon's Space Internet Satellites makes this a realistic option...if you can get less then 100 ping and 250MB....good enough...

 

Gas will shoot up a dollar a gallon more around here and people will wonder why its just that much higher now.

well...I'm not sure about that...There were stations expecting deliveries yesterday that did not get them. They are out of gas...
I blame those in power for not conveying a clear message of what to expect, but rather saying "They can pay the ransom if they want, they are a private company"

Oh believe me, I've been looking into doing travel radiology for awhile now. Already purchased a camper and have been doing research on solar, solar generators, and the best internet options for it. It isn't too far away for me. (If i can get gas to get there that is)

True, but I passed 4 stations (all different chains) and they were all out of gas. I don't think that all 4 would've been out of gas and expecting deliveries, maybe one or 2 of them. So I'd say it's a 75/25 split of panic and was expecting a delivery

I should go out right now and top off and then I decided to just do it this morning instead

when I went to shell in Hburg took me 30 minutes to fill up 10 gallons
And as I was pumping she started turning off all the pumps by hand with her key

 

Its insane. You should've seen the Costco line yesterday when i went there because i had 6 miles left on the tank. About 6 cars deep each pump.

Yes, but again, if NO gas is coming for a week...Which of you deserves the gas? Our economy is first come, first serve if nobody in power gives guidance otherwise. I told my peers to get gas sunday...

lol didn't know he did that. Travel vans are a hot thing right now. Although i think 4(100AH) of battleborn batteries is a little overkill for a van, pretty sweet for sure. However, he has the $$ so props to him. I was looking into one before camper, def has some perks of parking but i don't think it would be too comfortable for a full living space for awhile.

 

He was running a mobile video podcast studio with lights and charging video camera batteries etc...He has youtube videos where he goes through all his stuff and admits 90% overkill
