Anyone purchase the factory Toyota Tacoma Service manuals? I just picked up a new 2011 and I always get the factory service manuals when I buy a new vehicle. Just wondering if anyone has got them for a 2011 and how much $$ ?

I'm not talking about Chilton etc. I want what the techs at the Toyota dealers use.

Best bet is go onto toyotaowners.com

For $15, you can get a two day subscription with electronic access to all the factory manuals for the vehicle - including updated info.

I've done it twice - once when I removed the headliner to put in my NMO antenna mount in the roof, and once when I had to clip a factory wire behind the dash to get an ignition signal wire for my ARB compressor install.

    So yeah, there is this:

But the stuff I personally want most is up to date electrical. And since those are from, what, an 06? they're not up-to-date enough to let you e.g. cut a yellow wire with confidence you're doing the right thing.

Man, I saw that Taco factory manual was $555. I guess the $15 rental's looking better.

I bought the FSM with some help from my brother, still the roughly $500 price was steep for the 2009 manuals. My family owns 4 Tacos so having the FSM is handy.

If you're determined to buy the hardcopy, go to helminc.com - they sell them direct so you don't have to go through the dealer. It's roughly half-off that way. Still to the good side of 300 bucks, once you add in the four volumes plus the wiring diagrams.

Helm only recently started having the Tacoma manuals. There are cheaper alternatives, but the Helm manuals are genuine factory, and a lot cheaper than Toyota.

Hey. Anyone have any details on what is covered in each of the 4 parts of the manual? I don't want to spend hundreds when I am only interested in the illustrated parts breakdown and procedures to replace the oxygen sensors. It would be appreciated if anyone can help me with this. You can email me at Snyder6195@yahoo.com

Any current way to get PDF or reasonably priced paper manual for 2011? How good/bad is the Chilton/Haynes?

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
I have Customtacos web pages into a zip file. It has lots of PDF's, but if you have a windows computer, unzip, the open index with links to sections. Otherwise on mobile good luck finding which pdf. Its for 2005+. DM me your email and I can send it

I saw that, but only see 2005-2006 as the most recent. I suppose it's close enough for my 2011?

Most of the major components..ie..engine maint, tune-up, brake work, etc are pretty much the same from 2005 - 2015 - at least that's what some people claim.
If you need year-specific info, you will have to go to:

    techinfo.toyota.com

Last time I looked it was $20 for 2 days
