The real problem here is not the rise in gas prices due to this attack. Problem is, the prices won't go back down once the pipeline is back up and running.

 

Replacement pumps $$$$?

 

Replacement pumps are more than we can afford right now. We’ve checked.

 

Not many around here have anything. We can’t pump anymore gas and about 50 gallons of diesel.

 

Haven’t gotten any yet and haven’t heard when we may. I sent one of the guys we know that works at the delivery place a text and he responded “when Sheetz is running out, it’s bad”

He said he’s been cussed by every store today, I said not from us you haven’t

 

One of my cousins delivers diesel to off road places in a smaller truck, he tried to pay for 50 gallons of diesel today to get Friday. We can’t hold it and said no.

Another guy came in wanting gas, we have bags over the gas pumps. I looked him square in the eye and said “we don’t have any” he stared at me for like 10 seconds and turned and made a comment. I said I’m not lying man, I can’t get any myself.

 

Ouch! I've been in the fun situation of having the pump run out of gas midway through filling up my tank... good times.

 

I hate it for our regular customers, I hate it for the 200 cars that drove through our lot this afternoon and saw the bags and didn’t stop. It’s out of our hands though.
