if you've got facebook checkout "Nothing But Releases" guys are selling used on there all the time.

I have a Nock2It and like it, but the carter wise choice is basically the same release in a three finger hold, The nock on stuff has higher prices because of the name but it's all made by carter.

Stan Perfex is another good one that's super customizable.

Hey all, I took a few weeks off from the bow and now it’s time to get in the groove again. I’m looking for new arrows. I currently shoot Carbon Express 4560’s and they are ok. I use the same arrows for practicing and to hunt. Anything in that same dollar range to maybe look at? I shoot a newer Bowtech with a 60lb draw at 28 inches. If any of that matters. My shots can stretch to 50 yards. I use fixed broadheads. I hunt hogs and whitetail in Fl. Im not sure what else to list to help with narrowing a new arrow. Thanks in advance.

I knew there had to be something I wasn’t aware of

I’m in great shape but drawing my 75lb bow 200 times in a day would absolutely wreck me (assuming I even made it that far)

Setup is similar to mine. I shoot Easton 5mm Axis 340's. Cut to 29" with 50gr brass insert and 100gr SlickTrick ViperTricks. Little bit more arch in the arrow due to the additional 50gr & higher FOC, but arrow flight, especially with broadheads is great. Extra weight gives a boost in penetration as well. Not a big deal on whitetails. But elk, different story.

Black Eagle Outlaw. Fletched they are $48 per half dozen, bare shafts $73 a dozen. I’d say a 350 spine would work great. They sell lots of thread in brass inserts if you want to weight up that arrow too.

what is your arrow weight if you know by chance. Curious to see how heavy people are shooting traditional bows.

I really like my VAP SS 300s. 55g outsert and shooting 200g single bevels. I would highly recommend these. I’m shooting pretty much the same bow stats as you and these things have passed through two deer completely.

Depends on the bow honesty. For hunting rigs anywhere from 475-650 grains. I stick to the 10-12 gpp but venture up into the 15 gpp. I just love a silent bow.

I actually ran this stalker through the chrono. 42lbs at my draw length, 500 grain arrow at 165 fps average. That’s blazing for a short draw with a stick bow. Really looking forward to putting it through the paces this fall and shooting some critters with it.

Any thoughts on Obsession bows? I’m in the market for a new (used) bow. I’m looking to keep the price down because I’ll be traveling full time and don’t want a super expensive bow sitting in my truck 24/7. any other suggestions are welcome

    Just my opinion...
Instead of buying a new 'top of the line' bow, maybe drop down a notch or two and buy a new 'not quite the top of the line' bow for probably 40% less.
