I don’t know off the top of my head but I did use them to go forward for the 35s. But tomorrow I was planning to mess with them since I need an alignment anyway. If I find a way to make a decent difference, I’ll let you know what the exact setup is.

After the tubbing is done I’m going to do some testing to see how much it needs this. I want to go SAS next year so if I can get away with tubbing and not having terrible rub at the top during full bump, I’ll probably survive. But if it’s too much to the point where the tire struggles to keep turning, I’ll keep modifying until it works.

I guess I'm not sure what exactly you mean by tubbing. That is the term I have always used for cutting the firewall out and welding it back further. What wheel backspacing are you running, and it looks like your lowers are stock length?

That is what I meant by tubbing. I think I got confused about the coilover/bump question. But yes, I’m going to cut the firewall and weld it deeper.

37x12.5 on 17x8.5 with 4” backspacing. The lowers are stock and I don’t really plan to change that.

I just ask about the wheels/lowers to get an idea of how much you’ll have to cut. What I was saying is when you go to cut the firewall out, pull the CO out so you can fully cycle the suspension and you won’t have to do it twice

Is there a do or don’t buy consensus on relocation bracket fabricators? I’m going to order them but I haven’t even looked into who makes them yet.

The red goat fab is probably the strongest. All the others I’ve seen require plating and gussetting

You think no guessetting on those is fine? Or should add guessets myself?

Red goat you’re probably ok with what they send you. The others require additional plating of the frame and gussetting otherwise you’ll rip a hole in the frame like I did

Thanks. And thanks for the SPC caster setting.

I’ll be back at it tomorrow and I’ll try to remember to take better pictures for those that might be curious.

Got the rear sitting better. Time to get back to work on the front.

It was obviously a snarky comment with last July 4th lingering.

So I said you must still be salty that you never served in the military despite being Mr. Patriotic that apparently knows more about why people died for our flag than the actual people that died or served for it. :notsure:

Disregard my last if I interpreted your comment wrong. If that’s the case I’ll go eat my crayons like a good Marine.

I’m cool with your response aside from this part. You were one of the most active/engaging members there.

Anyway, I don’t need you to remember me. But I definitely remember your disrespect toward my brothers and sisters that paid the ultimate sacrifice for you. It may not have been your intention but your ignorance sure made it that way. It is what it is. Carry on with it, I guess.
