Lead of the group got out to spot us around a rock, radio transmission was "Okay you're going to want to go either wide or tight on this left because there's a rick right in the mid....or go right over it...No just keep going it's already past your diff anyway"

    I have a skid plate and sliders, what are they there for if not to beat the piss out of?

    Ever make it thru Utah? Bryce canyon is awesome, not to be missed, Zion was cool but lots of people. Arches was great on mountain bikes too. Trying to make a plan to get back maybe in the fall

    You know, as much as I travel, etc, I have ZERO patches in my trucks. Couple stickers(one on each truck), from going to my favorite hidey hole(Padre Island National Seashore)...

    Only things with a Texas flag is the yard, and the rear slide cover of my EDC...

    I really can't wait to move home. But, the money, and pension is currently too good to walk away from...

    Sorry for rambling...

    My wife absolutely hates my job but 14 years in with the state and every weekend off at a 24/7 operation is something to treasured... she makes more than me in corporate working from home and thinks it’s easy to take the leap just to get out... the money and pension keep me coming back.

    I don’t like stickers. I get to take the patches off and keep them when I sell the truck. Either put them in the next one or put them on a wall or something.

    the flags were actually just where I’d gone to not necessarily any sort of love for the states. Trust me. I have no plans to go back to LA (Joshua tree I would). Texas is a future want to live but the flag is from the road trip there in July.

    Can relate, my pension is now locked in since I hit 20 years of service last fall..have to wait till 55 at least to collect. But losing them funding more money each year now sucks. 5 weeks vacation helps too
