    I appreciate it, bushing seem good still. It almost seemed like the cv joint was popping out of the inner cup? I wish I could upload videos lol I just don’t know how

    OK, so in trying to make sure I'm ready to go for all my bushing installs, I'm looking at the Strongflex LCA bushings and wondering if I need to go source some large washers.

    What's in the Strongflex "box":

    What's in the Whiteline "box." (note the 8 washers) As I recall, these go on either side of the bushing, against the frame, to prevent the bushing from rubbing on the frame.

    Is this just a design difference from manufacturers, or an oversight from Strongflex?

    no washer. Goes right in the LCA mounts. Just like my Solo arms and MCM arms.

    pretty much yes. Think about your leaf springs. No washers there either. The idea is that technically you don't want the bushing turning in the arm. You want the arm to pivot off the bolt inside the sleeve. So if the bushing is being squeezed between the mounts it's less likely to turn. You also don't want the arm to pivot with the bushings as the pivot.


    Now...that's idea. But also noisy. I still grease mine when they go it and if they move..they move. No biggie.

    This is the part I was wondering about. Good to know it's ok if there is some pivot of the bushing in the sleeve. Beats the hell out of squeaks.
