Potential home owners are already starting to rethink building in the current market. We just put in a bid for just the framing lumber for a 3300 sq new build. That total was 185K. A very similar order was 94K last summer. lol

 

i got a buddy who was waiting on permits from like last year, and they just got approved, but with the cost of lumber he's re-evaluating as to whether to continue with the remodel...

in and out multiple times on a couple stop outs...just got stopped out again on the big sell.
missed the initial buy in at ~6.1 cause the chart was set to 5 min instead of 1 min...dumbass
all my other charts were set at 1 min, and this one was 5....argh!
was up a couple hundred, now down a hundred.

 

looks like its falling pretty quick, might be a good time to take some profit

 

the last batch of shares I had got stopped out at $8.10
(bought 'em at $8.3)

damn, its weird how shotty the handling of this is for everyone. It seems like everyone has a different experience trying to get them transferred.

 

Absolutely. In my area it’s contributing to the skyrocketing market for existing homes. Values in some areas here on the coast have gone up 25-33% over the past year, it’s absurd. I know people who’ve been instantly priced out of the market in a matter of months. The most price inflation was about Nov-April.

To be fair it’s also all the city folk who are now teleworking fleeing to the coast. “I can work from anywhere”. Even out-of-staters.
