Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I wear hiking boots almost exclusively. I found a pair that I really like, and with my usual luck when I find something I like it gets discontinued and I have to start all over again.

So I was smart this time and bought two backup pairs.

I bought the original pair in 2015 and they're not even close to worn out. 6 years of almost daily use. So I guess I'm set for a while.

i feel like a psycho hoarder when i do that lol. Like if i know a model or generation is discontinued, and i hate the new generation for whatever reason, i might get a couple pairs. Not really for boots which last forever, but like trail running shoes or sneakers.

is this what getting old is like? "i like what i like, dont fuckin change it"

 

If i remember I'll post a pic of my lawn sneakers...They are at least 12 years old and I keep them in the shed and they have no souls...

All this talk of shoes reminds me I've had my same rotation for like 2 years. I should probably buy some new ones rather than move 5 different pairs that are like 80% worn down on each pair... Cmon GME buy me some shoes.
