It was def 04b00. I bought mine 11/15, build was September or October. Trans fluid was low. Eventually got the dealer to do the TSB after arguing with them. After a little over a year and 50k miles I traded it for my MT.

you should get an award for being on that garbage calibration for so long

I just can't even fathom it given how pathetic 04B12 was.

Hi everyone please forgive me as I've been out of touch with this forum since I've flashed 2.0 EROM in 2019. I understand there is a mandatory update for a flash kit users such as myself (Orange OBDII) to the new vF platform as advised on post #1 of this thread. I've submitted my info via email to support desk so I think now I just wait for them to tell me what to do? Lastly, I've spent a few hours searching this thread and trying to figure out if I have the latest TSB but having no luck and there is just too much to read through, maybe I am searching for the wrong keywords but I have the 04A61 (2018 Auto). How do I check if I have the latest TSB so I can successfully update to the new version? Sorry if I am lost and thanks in advance for your help.

Yes. Just wait for the FM Replacement info to come from @OVTune .

04A61 is still the latest for your Taco, but the 2016 through 2018 ATs are the last group to not get a recent TSB. All MTs and 2019 through 2021 ATs are on seemingly the same calibration now. TSBs TSB-0043-20 Rev 1 and TSB-0092-20.

All of that info is tracked in the 1st Post of the ECU Update thread.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as @fullsend604 except I haven't done anything to update to VF, and I don't see it in first post.. I just email zendesk?
I am on 04A61 as well, and I am PRETTY SURE I am running reg/stock/thx..
Anyway to verify? Truck hasn't been driven much since update.

Sorry for repetitive questions, and thanks for the help. Trying to get back into stuff...

Yes. If you do not want to view or edit tune files, then toss a Zendesk message to @OVTune with your original order number and / or original email address that you used to order. He'll link up your account and get you set up on the replacement when it is ready.

There is no way to verify the tune. That's one of the features. Still though, you'll be able to flash at will to find what you like. Beyond that, the Ultimate tunes and other features will be coming to try out.

    Thanks,
No, editing etc, isn't for me. I have WAY too much on my plate to even entertain trying to learn it.
I may just reflash what I THINK I have, just in case(road trip coming up in a month), then submit my stuff.

    Thanks!

Flash Manager Replacement I think? Since we’re just making names for it, haha. Really just a Flash and Log only version/license of VF from my understanding.

I call it “Flash n’ Log” VF. Lol.

I feel it is very important to post this, and will relay it to the first post, that after we release this new version there will be no more future versions (pre-packaged tunes).

All future features will be through VF Tuner.

Sorry! What @BrettsMac08 said. FM Replacement.

But, it is Ultimate. What could be better?

I have over 1k on that first test file. I have flashed back to it about five times now. I have no idea what is in it in total, but it just makes me smile.

See the 1st Post of the ECU Update thread. You'll want to flash up to 04B91 if you aren't there yet.

There is nothing in your existing ECU tune that matters. The file is the same as the Stock file in the installation folder. Just pick a tune for your ECU ID and flash it.

If you do not have tunes yet and are trying to get your ECU ID, while connected to the internet, hit the Prepare ECU button. That will give you the ECU ID. Regardless, you'll want the 04B91 tunes. Just reply to @OVTune saying that you want the 04B91 Tune Pack, if you purchased one.
