How long have you had it and have you had any issues with it?

About a year now, and nope. It’s awesome.

 

I mean I'm well aware of them just never looked into them much or really took notice and as much as I want to crawl under and poke and prod at other people's rigs at meets to gain insight and understanding on stuff like the super bumps first hand I also want to respect people's personal space and property.

 

Conversely, I don't respect anyone who doesn't crawl underneath my rig and poke around.

 

I like them. no complaints. Extremely noticeable difference over stock. They handle the weight good i think. All good

 

Good deal. I'm looking to replace the OEM system instead of chasing the ghost that keeps it from working.

Since I'm here, here's the deal: wrecked my '11 Pre-Runner (Crew cab, 4 cyl, 2WD) and found the 6 cyl, 4WD Access Cab with about the same number of miles at a very reasonable price.

Without taking into account the alignment scheduled for tomorrow, here's what I've done so far. Nothing major....


Changed cabin filter. I know, it didn't really need it.

Covered the rather nasty, torn steering wheel.

Installed a bug shield and front plate.

And vent visors
And currently trying to fab locking covers for the bed storage boxes.

Lots of plans for the little things that came from the Cheap Mods threads (you might want to invest in LED light manufacturers & Plasti-Dip now before I get started!).

I don't intend to go rock crawling with it but it will not be a Pavement Princess either.... we'll see how this thing turns out.

 

Did the Hilux 4x4 switch with cool white LED's.

 

And the AJT Design Climate Knobs are quite awesome

Got caught in an unexpected shower and admired the beading from my recent waxing.



Cleaned up and maintained my uniballs and heims.







Did a quick and dirty mini detail, why is the cup holder area always so filthy!?


Not really to be seen but cleaned up my rear cam cables a bit, still need to pull the dash and hard wire it.

 

Got to change an alternator on my truck wanted to upgrade to over 200 A but the price was too high so I went with a factory reman 130 amp. Trucks at 180k for mileage.
