Actual inflation been at least 10-15% a year since the early 30s when Roosevelt tried to seize all the public's gold and banned use of gold as payment or use by creditors, ending the gold standard. And at least like a few more percent each year when Nixon ended convertibility of the U.S. dollar to gold (meaning you can't go to a bank or treasury and exchange currencies around to get dollar for gold or vice versa like you would with currency when traveling or trading it based on strength) which truly put an end to the gold standard. BUT all .gov reported records and metrics of inflation have been stuck at like 3% the whole time based on who knows what. Yeahhhh nothing to see here

I'm going over some charts and my positions. Damage control will be what happens Monday if the markets don't put their smiley faces back on.

I do get to go in for my second Moderna shot tomorrow. Everyone I know said they felt like shit for a few days afterwards. Working tomorrow and Friday is gonna suck. At least I'll be COVID proofed though. That will keep the wife happy.

 

We were both down and out for two days after shot numero dos. All the older people we know (parents / grandparents) were all fine. All my friends in my age range were all sick for a day or two afterwards.

 

I felt fine after mine. You never know

 

shit is weird...my GF was a little sick after the first one...i felt fine..
2nd one it was the opposite...although i didn't feel it till like noon the next day...mild fever, felt like i got hit by a truck by like 6 pm.
