Is there a way to get the fog lamps to stay on when you move to your high beams? I’ve swapped my “fog” lamps to white LED’s (BD squadrons) but I’d love if they stayed on when I go to high beams on the back roads.

Or get a relay and switch and leave you factory harnesses alone..

Best solution, gives you flexibility as to when you want to use them.

You can even trigger the relay from the highbeam circuit - Only work with highbeams on.

Just get a light bar and trigger from high beams. Leave the fogs alone.

@daveeasa could assemble the relay and harness to the grill connection & @kmorgan3 can hook you up with the T harness to the Light Stalk.

Yeah, going through the firewall, never my favorite thing.

Two T's, one off high beam H9 and one off fog intercept could work with battery tap for power, I'm guessing that's how aftermarket solutions work?

I kind of understand how it may be nice to have wide light coverage with high beams on, but true fog you'd never want the highs on. I feel like fog lights are best at lower speeds where low beams are preferable to high beams. I kind of agree on using a light bar or driving lights if the desire is more foreground light while high beams are on via optional secondary trigger, but then that foreground light is actually hurting your distance perception and that makes things less safe.

My DD SS3 MAX's in the minivan are fantastic in the slow twisties at night, not even sure I need the low beam H9 bulbs on at all for that.

I guess with pre-crimped terminal it'd be OK but still requires some skill to insert the pin and either requires an indication of the slot or pinning the entire T (presumably that was the plan?)

I dunno, I'm grumpy old man with firewall ventures. I like my firewall clean of unnecessary wires. That's by far the biggest reason I went with a Switch-Pros.

    Well...no.
    This be your part:
    upload_2021-5-12_20-22-57.jpg
Relay - Relay base - fuse holder - wire from relay to EN1 connector with added wire for ground and plug for vehicle harness.
Long pigtail (18 awg) to cab.
@kmorgan3 already has the T for the light stalk.
Added relay switched in parallel with OEM one without going through the Main Body ECU to shut the circuit OFF with High Beams.(i.e. ON anytime- remember to turn OFF via stalk switch)

Ah, and then just butt/solderless to connect the bare leads between kmorgan T and deasa T?

I get it. M and F fog intercept connectors (one is a cap with plugs) + relay connector + relay (no help with mounting) + bare lead at 1M or so? $30 ish ballpark? Only real question is how long between fog intercept and relay which is dictated by desired mounting location.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and ground loop to nearby ground location for the fog intercept since we can't use the OEM ground?

If we're talking more than one, might be cool to send to kmorgan with a bullet and he could do a matching bullet and make it all plug and play. Assuming a male bullet through the firewall isn't too hard with a little lube.

I only have 2 pairs of fog intercepts right now and I'm dry on relay connectors with a 450 order sitting for 3 months now, supposed to be coming from Brazil, ship date keeps slipping to tomorrow when the clocks strikes midnight...

That be great, if there was interest. I just went overboard here.

I've seen in lots of porn that's the way to go:rofl:

Why limit yourself to have them only work when the highbeams are on?

Because that’s the legal requirement of driving lights where I live.

It's super convenient to have them dip if you meet anyone- no fumbling for switches while you blind other drivers..

Also wouldn’t want them accidentally being on under the covers. Or killing the battery for some reason when the truck isn’t driving. Can't think of an instance when I would want driving lights but not Highbeams..

I also appreciate having one trigger and everything else neat and tidy. 2 minute removal back to stock is nice sometimes.

I bought a little electrical splice kit off eBay for my 3/4 ton, find both light's wires, and the little circuit board thing they send crimps them both together, so the fogs stay on with brights. Can't for the life of me remember the name of the company.
