Those old IH engines were tough, were they 345’s? Dad had one in an old one ton.

Traded the light to a friend who bought this pump on sale the other day. I can use the engine for something if I don’t use the pump. It’s brand new, never had gas in it. I had zero in the light.

    2 gallons, amazing.
We had a guy that was lucky to be within 2" on the stick -- that really messed up the numbers... :annoyed:

Almost done with the back of the store. Ran out of daylight. I’ve been working around the refrigerant lines, drain, and power for the cooler for two evenings. Luckily the electrician put a junction box where it went through the wall so I flipped the breaker, unwired it, installed the tin and rewired it. Now to finish cleaning up the mess and reinstall the outdoor water faucet. Also drew blood, again.

The light truck (Light Line in the IH world) V8s were 266, 304, 345, 392 and occasionally an AMC 401, apparently IH had difficulty making enough engines some years. AMC provided the 6 cylinders, 232 & 258. The early scouts could have a IH built 152 4 cylinder as well.

My wife went to the local bojangles for supper and was going to pay cash. They wouldn’t take it. Said they couldn’t get in the safe. She said I have exact change. They still wouldn’t take it o_O

I’m always getting cut or burnt. I wiped it on my shirt, put a bandaid on it to keep the blood off the tin and kept on working :D

Dude, always. Duct tape with a scrap of rag under it works wonders. Lol who's got time to find a bandaid?

Black electrical tape and a scrap of rag -- much more professional. ;) (duct tape is for rednecks) :boink:
