May I ask where you have a rodent problem at your home?

From my long experience as a home owner thats had mice issues for many years, nothing is 100% to be effective forever for ridding those little bastards. Best to hope for is to control/manage them.

I used to work in pest control and also had a rodent chew through the air bag wiring harness on my truck. You best bet is having a pest control company come out and place some rodent bait traps around your home and monitoring it on a quarterly basis.

Thats all fine, but in reality if your up to it you can accomplish the same yourself placing several traps at most likely places they are, and keeping rodent deterrents were you don't want them to be. You have be vigilant, checking the traps every couple days to keep up with any dead mice, and re-baiting them.

True, also most chemicals/pesticides or rodenticides in this case can be purchased on Amazon if your willing to do the work yourself. We would used first strike soft rodent bait with great results.

Years ago i hire a pest control company to take care of a carpenter ant problem in the house. They did basically what i was going to do, but at least it was a learning experience for a first timer. Well years later the ants are back again. This time i'm taking care of it placing gel baits and spraying the inside baseboards, and exterior of the home along with the yard. As of today those ants are croaking quick.

I have had this issue. I now use the packages of the typically blue pebbles. Tomcat is one brand. I put small pools of pebbles in different areas under the hood. Any spot that looks like I can dump some pebbles and they will remain during driving. This took care of the problem.

One issue with this is a mouse died in my wife's Venza. I just pretended like I couldn't smell anything and her nagging dissipated with the smell (about 6 months).

In the winter, I try my best to be sure the car vents are set on inside circulation before being parked. Otherwise, the squirrel cage fan becomes home sweet home just before a major mouse catastrophe hits. You will know about this catastrophe when tiny mouse hairs blow out of your car vents and go directly into your lungs causing you to cough and google hantavirus. But that also dissipates in 6 months.

I've been subscribed to Shaun Woods' Mousetrap Monday channel for a while, and can saw it's one of the more satisfying genres on Youtube. Tons of variations of control out there

Oh yeah I've come across him too, but I prefer watching the cold blooded killer "Buttercup" destroy rats by the dozens lol

    Some stuff
I had a Jetta, when I parked in the garage this little army of ants would crawl out and remove any of the smears and smatters of bugs and bees and what not. It was kind of magical, then I sprayed vinegar all over the engine compartment. The magic was lost after that. It was new but 2 years old, one of the dieselgate scandals that had sat on a lot and was allowed to be sold after it was “fixed”.
