We should have a pay it forward kit. All needed wrenches and a spare accumulator along with laminated instructions. Replace with your accumulator and send it forward.

You could, but for the cost of postage, you can pretty much grab that set from HF that is really good.

I mean, I get your suggestion.
    Quick swap/bleed and you're done.

If you have a dremel though it's really easy. You just have to be careful you don't nick the sealing surface, and then clean the thing out really well.

Sure, but you don't need an accumulator. Also, I wouldn't want someone else dremel work.

    Of course not.

Kit would include wrenches, bottle, tubing, clamp, takeoff accumulator.

Pay last guy $50 to get kit.

receive and purchase dot 4 fluid.

    dremel accumulator in advance.

    unbolt and swap using wrenches

    bleed using bottle

package takeoff accumulator and tools / supplies for shipment to next guy who pays you $50

    Makes sense to me.

    I wouldn't either.

It cost me a bottle of brake fluid, and that's it.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Would you happen to have the part number??

I have all the parts and even a laminator.

I would assemble a kit if we think this will actually work. If it fizzled though, I’ll be bummed.

It might have been a hit when this all kicked off. Now, there are only a new person or two per month posting here. You'd have to judge the worth from other folks.

Myself, I had the stuff on the shelf and only grabbed new wrenches because the one that I had was weak and seen better days. I'm always looking for an excuse to trawl through HF.

The other variable is that folks approached it three different ways. Some pulled the drive shaft, others pulled the exhaust support, and some did neither. :D If you don't pull the exhaust support, you need a hinged wrench. There's no room for straight ones like in the HF set.

I have been watching this thread and missed this Drexmel business . I guess I started following too long ago

Edit. Found the ported accumulator pic.
I want this mod so bad now that I know it's even easier

I'm aware, Just thought the wording was odd when he said he didn't have a reservoir. All good.

AutoZone carries them, both in sets and as individual wrenches. I didn't have any trouble digging up what I needed

Oooorrr.... Don't pull any of that stuff and still use straight flare wrenches. :D

An autoparts store was where I got the one that failed, but I think I tried to use it in a tight spot for a standard fastener and it yield.

I'm a fan of working easier. Beyond that, I'm clumsy with what I think are large hands, so space is good.

That's a good point, I didn't have that hinged wrench and had to pull the exhaust bracket. Having a full set of every tool you need and color photos showing how to use it would add some value vs the extra work of finding the best possible tool. I didn't even know what a flare wrench was before doing this.

Ppl pulled the front driveshaft for this?!
I've done it both ways (removal on the 16 and dremel on the 19) and didn't think of going that far lol. The exhaust bracket did come off though.
