Two questions, neither of which I really need answered.

    1) Does she have a lid for the Sterilite?
    2) Will a lid even matter if she can't lift it into her trunk anyway?

Lots of office folks seem to feel that service people have a magic wand we can wave and produce a part for a 20 year old system. They can't grasp the idea of obsolete. The next line is always "why, we brought that unit brand new!" -- 20 :censored: years ago!!

Even when you pull off a minor miracle, find the part and report "it will be here tomorrow" they still feel the need to tell you how uncomfortable they are... (and how unacceptable this situation is, sense of urgency and all that nonsense)

Meanwhile on the shop floor it is 90 degrees... :frusty:

My fleet of clunkers and wheezers (not counting the Tacoma) requires something more than a 1 size fit all approach. The old F-250 won't go 5,000 miles in several years for example.

At least she was safety conscious and put the tote on the concrete so it can't build up a static charge.;)

I just looked through my notes, my 2003 Duramax I had the tranny rebuilt May 15th, 2018, in 3 years I've driven it 6,188 miles. I change the oil in it every 5K :anonymous:

That oil change I did in the Pilot this weekend? It was at 23 months and 6,400 miles.

    Paper bag for me, too...

    1. Of course not.
    2. 20 gallon tote * 6.3#/gal = cracked tote and her pants/shoes soaked in 126 pounds of gasoline :bananadead:

For me to go to town is about 12 miles, the first 3 is dirt. So 25% of the driving is on dirt roads for my daily van and her Subaru.
