    Ugh I ordered mine mid Feb....and now I'm thinking I may be moving back to Boston in the Fall. I can't imagine when I would ever use an RTT camping in New England since its all private campgrounds.... Right now I live on National Forest land so I'm dispersed camping all the time. I may just cancel the order

    Apparently the shipment of fabric from overseas had a logo misprinted on it (upside down GFC). Pretty sure people receiving them were notified of it and can request a refund. Others that didn't get the email (me) are probably later in the schedule and will receive a different batch of fabric.

    Yeah the wait is rough. Good news is that it seems like they're pumping out tents. They mentioned loading an 18 wheeler with them on their IG live yesterday and the @gfc_superlite Instagram shows more people are getting deliveries. Bad news is that I read that the fabric mistake may continue for a while...which really sucks.

    Still doesn’t take care of my concerns about theft. Park at a trail head and go for an afternoon hike? You just made it that much easier for thieves to “quick-release” your tent and throw it into a truck bed.

    I ended up having to mill down some tepui track inserts and used the Wheel Every Weekend security mounts.
    Don’t get me wrong, I love my tent, just some things that i wish were a little more thought out.

    I have the same concerns you do as far as theft but they are in a process of creating a locking system that goes along with that quick release. They showed the functionality in a recent update vid. Pretty neat and should help deter people from wanting to swipe it.

    Its on their instagram. Its a live video they did a few weeks ago, but they saved it and uploaded it after. The quick release will be lockable...just TBD on when they release the locking part.

    I was concerned when I saw the condition of the box. There were a few punctures, but it looks and feels to be intact.

    Got the ladder, mattress, sheet and quick releases ahead of time. Great experience dealing with GFC.

    I used the Sherpa tent riser mounts to mount the rtt. I added a 3rd set of dummy mounts in the middle to help the weight distribution.

    How's everyone liking their superlite? Seen some mixed reviews (leaking, mattress pad issues, sagging top on the upper honeycomb), but besides that mostly positive.

    No issues, had some rain during our 4 day trip last 4th Of July. No leaks, the gfc mattress is comfortable so far. Quick to open and close 2-3 minutes. I can barely feel it above even during high speed desert mobbing. Worth the money IMHO :thumbsup:
