I'm not sure this would be VSC related. Dry pavement, there should be no slippage that would cause the system to break the wheel unless it is faulty..

A fuel pump issue could stall the engine and cause you to lose power steering, that might feel like a lock as it would be much harder to turn the wheel, but at speed you should still be able to control it

Check the abs/wheel sensors, make sure it hasn't been knicked/chewed/stretched tight/or pinched.

Should have a bunch of ABS lights if its a sensor issue.

Do 3rd gens have the ability to do a VSC calibration like the 2nd gens do? Kinda sounds like that might be the issue.

16 and some 17s... yes, but its a crap shoot to get it to work. 18 and above, they removed that pin from the obd2 port.

So on my way home tonight I tried to mimic what happened with no luck. I did notice the traction light did come on flashing but nothing else. Looking at the picture I was going slower than the other 3 times that it did act up. Here looks like I’m going 45mph here and the other times it was 47mph. The sign for that corner is 35mph.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
so the speed limit for the corner is 35. It acted up at 45 and 47 and you were going ‘slower than the other 3 times that it did act up’...

    1. Likely VSC because..
    2. You’re already 10+ over on your slowest attempt to recreate it.

$20 says slowing down will help....

it’s not even Friday yet

This is the corner that it’s happening, too give you reference on the turning radius. The red circle is approximately where it’s been happening.

I have a 2019 TRD off road that is doing the same thing. Have seen that light flash really fast for just a second and that's it. Does feel like it was applying pressure to the left front brake. Following......
