Whats even better, after I replaced the unit, she did it again. I had to remove the thing and hose it all out.

Then shortly after I got in the hospital she had dumped a bunch of spaghetti down there... it clogged the drain all the way down about 20 feet past the clean out. I had to snake it while my legs didnt work. (BTW, water was backed up to the sink, and the cleanout is in the basement, so rancid water went everywhere as it had been sitting for 5 days while I was in the hospital)

My suggestion is scrap the rear door speakers and JBL "premium" package, they are absolute garbage and as a musician and audiophile I'm ashamed of myself for even thinking otherwise. Go with a 3-way active crossover system. Here's my setup:

1) Gut the factory head unit and every single speaker with it and sell them.

3) Buy sound deadener (optional but highly recommended):

I would, but thats a crap ton of work and money compared to what my plan was. Kicker front doors subaru tweeters with sound deadening in doors was my plan. I'm sure your setup sounds great, but I don't really have the time to pull apart the whole truck for any extended amount of time as well as I have 0 wiring knowledge so plug and play all day. Since factory HU sends so little power to rear doors not bothering with those plus 90% of the time its going to be just 1 or 2 people in the truck. Headunit would be down the road. I have non jbl but just Entune premium or whatever it is. my plan would put me in around 250 and significantly better than stock I've been told.
