Challenge, who has the most budget friendly lift out there(i.e. cheapest)

    chris other than the welding and the fact that i overdid it(which i plan to fix:deadhorse: ) i fail to see how this is different geometry wise than a spacer lift

    Its not.....really.....Those top plate spacers are junk, and bad for your truck too. The assembly is now much longer than what was designed to be used in that space.

    Thing is....If your looking to lift for the cheapest price, I can bang out some spacers for ya for about a buck. .....Plus install, of course.....

    oh and jandrew those automotive engineers who carefully select the proper materials for the job owe me either a new bellhousing ora modified throwout bearing from urd cuz i'm sick of th chirp my truck makes when i let the clutch out in neutral:cool:

    thanks chris but so could my old metal shop teacher i just thought i'd try it different plus i really didn't like the look of those bent shock ends on the camburg site.

    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    well...... i think it was a good idea, give the guy some credit. shit i wouldnt have thought of this.... good using the brain to get a cheap lift!!

    i know everyone thinks i'm a prick who doesn't wanna hear the truth now but comparing spacers to spacers what are the chances of my shock end bending like those examples on camburg? and thanks crf250 but i wouldn't side with me unless ur wearing flameretardant clothing:p

    I would say the chances are pretty dam good. And if you run it off road, I would say it WILL happen soon.

    Its possible when i installed my Coilovers i turned the top plate upside down and I ended up with with 5.5 inches of lift.

    I dont think anyone thinks your a prick, but I think most folks on here, have seen, or know someone who has broken a shock from a lift like this. People dont just say no to someone doing a mod for no reason. Most people have had things fail, and try to pass their knowlege on......
